Your sonographer discusses the findings with you at the end of the appointment, and a formal written report is emailed within 24 hours. Reports can be sent straight to your GP or specialist on request.
Scans are performed by HCPC-registered sonographers working to British Medical Ultrasound Society standards, the same standards applied in NHS imaging departments. Cardiac studies are reported by a consultant cardiologist.
