Booking FAQs

Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can self-refer and book directly online or by phone. You are welcome to share your report with your GP afterwards.

How much does it cost, and which insurers do you accept?
£350 all-inclusive, with no hidden fees. We accept AXA Health, AXA Global, Healix and WPA, and can provide an itemised invoice for your claim.

How quickly will I get my results?
You receive instant verbal results from your clinician at the end of the appointment, and your written report within 24 hours by secure email.

Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Within 24 hours a cancellation fee may apply.

Why is a venous reflux study needed before varicose vein treatment?
A venous reflux study maps the direction of blood flow in the leg veins and identifies which veins are incompetent (allowing blood to flow backwards). This information is essential for planning any varicose vein procedure — without it, treatment cannot be properly targeted and may be ineffective.

Is my appointment confidential?
Yes. Appointments and reports are handled in full compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and nothing is shared with your GP or any third party without your written consent.
