What is the Women's Full Body Ultrasound Scan?

The Women's Full Body Ultrasound-Scan is our most comprehensive diagnostic package. It combines seven distinct ultrasound examinations into a single, efficient appointment to evaluate the health, structure, and function of your major internal organs.

This proactive screening is designed to detect early signs of abnormalities—such as cysts, fibroids, nodules, stones, or structural changes—often before physical symptoms become apparent. Whether you are experiencing vague discomfort, have a family history of certain conditions, or simply want a thorough health baseline, this package provides detailed clinical insights.

Why choose the full package?

Booking these seven scans individually would cost £711. By combining them into a single comprehensive appointment, you save £112, reduce clinical visits, and receive a holistic overview of your health in one detailed medical report.

When should you book a full body scan?

While many patients book this package purely for proactive health screening and peace of mind, it is highly recommended if you are experiencing multiple or vague symptoms that require a comprehensive overview.

  • Proactive health monitoring Establishing a baseline for your internal health, especially if you are over 40.
  • Family medical history A history of breast cysts, fibroids, thyroid issues, or gallstones in your family.
  • Unexplained symptoms Vague abdominal pain, bloating, fatigue, or changes in your menstrual cycle.

How to prepare for your appointment

Because this package includes scans of the abdomen, pelvis, and urinary tract, specific preparation is required to ensure clear imaging.

1
Fasting is required Please do not eat any solid food for 4 hours prior to your appointment. This reduces bowel gas, allowing clear views of the abdominal organs.
2
Full bladder is required Drink 1 litre (4 glasses) of water exactly 1 hour before your scan time. Do not empty your bladder before the scan. A full bladder acts as an acoustic window to view the pelvic organs clearly.
3
Clothing Wear comfortable, loose-fitting, two-piece clothing to allow easy access to your neck, chest, and abdomen.
